SC Protect Filters

Protect

Using sophisticated adsorption media, the Protect systems have been designed to help industries comply with a mountain of increasingly stringent environmental legislation on emissions, both liquid and vapour phases.

Activated carbon adsorption is the fundemental technology of the Protect system. Contaminants are attracted to the activated carbon surfaces by intermolecular attraction.

Each Protect adsorption unit has an internal distribution system to ensure extended and efficient contact between the vapour or liquid and the activated carbon.

SC PROTECT Filter Units

Product Versatility
  • Protect V range is for treating vapour streams.
  • Protect L is for liquids.
Both are available, generally ex-stock, in 200, 1000 and 2000 litre sizes. All units offer proven design, rugged construction and negligible supervision requirements. Installation is rapid, with forklift fittings provided for easy handling.

Custom Design Services
Adsorption units can be specifically designed to incorporate pressure vessel requirements, particulate filters, monitoring and control equipment, as well as skid mounted assemblies and units using specialist impregnated carbons. Alternative materials of construction are available to order.

APPLICATIONS
  • Protect V controls emissions from storage tank and process vents, air stripper exhausts, soil vapour extraction systems and all general emission/odour sources.

SC PROTECT L2000s
  • Protect L removes contaminants from waste water, ground water, potable water, process and product streams.
