Waste Water Treatment

Treatment

For the treatment of waste water streams Sutcliffe Speakman can offer solutions derived from one or more of the following technologies; activated carbon adsorption, steam or air stripping.

Activated Carbon Adsorption
These systems comprise both non-regenerable PROTECT L adsorption units and regenerable liquid phase adsorption systems.

Steam and Air Stripping
Depending on the application, steam or air stripping can be used to remove organic compounds from aqueous effluent streams.

PROTECT Activated Carbon Systems

The PROTECT range of adsorption units are low cost self-contained activated carbon filters designed to provide a simple and economic solution for both vapour and liquid phase emissions. They offer the following benefits:

  • low cost
  • liquid flows upto 20m³/hr
  • range of sizes
  • specially selected materials of construction
  • variety of activated carbons
  • rugged construction
  • availability ex-stock

Air and Steam Stripping Systems

Sutcliffe Speakman designs and installs equipment to separate solvents into individual components using air and steam stripping. This technology is utilised to remove VOCs from wastewater streams.

To ensure optimum performance and competitive pricing, systems are designed for each application on a case by case basis.
